Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance Technician – PaintLocation: Chattanooga, TNIndustry:automotive manufacturingStatus of Hire: full-time, direct hirePay Rate: $40.11/hr, 3 months bump to $41.53/hr, 1 year bump to $43.01/hrShift:2nd (2:00pm-10:30pm, must be flexible to work OT and Saturdays as needed)Reports to: Paint Maintenance SupervisorMain Mission:Ensures that all painting means (paint line and auxiliaries) are kept in a functional and safe condition by dealing with predictive, preventive and curative maintenance.Main Responsibilities:Works according to HSE requirementsPlans and carries out preventive maintenance of machinery, systems and utility servicesEfficiently repairs paint line and auxiliaries during downtimeSupervises external companies providing contract maintenance and repairReduction of unscheduled machinery and equipment downtimeParticipates in continuous improvement processes and activitiesRetains and Updates maintenance documentationRetains and maintains necessary spare parts inventory for paintingSupports level 1 maintenance trainingIs responsible for tidiness of his/her work area (5S)May relieve fellow team members for their breaksRequirements:Proven experience (5 years) in maintenance of automotive paint production equipment including previous troubleshooting of ABB robots and paint delivery systemsTechnician certification with a specialty in several of the following fields (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics)Experience in ABB robotics and application processesComputer skillsProven problem-solving skillsCustomer-oriented**Must be authorized to work in the United States, client is not able to offer sponsorship at this time**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
