Personal Banker - Elgin

First International Bank & Trust is seeking a Personal Banker to join our Elgin branch. Key Responsibilities Provide a welcoming, professional experience for customers in the lobby and drive‑up. Accurately process routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments. Build relationships with customers by understanding their needs and recommending appropriate products and services. Assist customers with basic account questions and problem resolution. Follow established procedures to verify identification, protect customer information, and prevent fraud. Balance cash drawers and follow cash handling best practices. Support branch operations by working collaboratively with teammates to ensure smooth daily coverage. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail, hospitality, customer service, or cash handling roles preferred. Strong customer service background in a people‑facing role. Professional, friendly communication style. Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Comfort working with cash and basic computer systems.
