As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, documenting visitor activity, and communicating professionally with employees, contractors, and guests. You will support security-related operations through a visible presence, routine patrols, and timely reporting of incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Complete detailed reports and logs regarding visitor activity, access-control events, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
