Maintenance Technician - Night ShiftOH Middlefield - Middlefield, OH 44062OverviewSalary Range $28.63 - $30.87 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift Night Shift Category ManufacturingDescriptionJob PurposeThe purpose of the Maintenance Technician is to provide industrial maintenance to manufacturing equipment to ensure that Company equipment is kept in working order and compliance with all HC Safety standards. The position requires a skill set involving, but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, fabrication, and electrical (especially 480-three-phase electrical). This position requires you to work in a warm temperature environment throughout your shift. You would be required to obtain a full range of motion from standing, reaching, moving, bending, and lifting up to 40lbs as necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesLearn the manufacturing process as it relates to equipment start-up, operations, and our company proceduresComplete scheduled preventative maintenance activities as well as unscheduled repairs on industrial equipment and various other machines; repairs include but are not limited to electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, electrical, electronic systems, circuits, controls, panels, relaysDiagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and make necessary adjustmentsOperate electrical hand tools and voltage or amp measuring devicesWorks from blueprintsLead by example and perform all job duties in accordance with The HC Companies valuesPerform other duties as required by supervisors or managersQualificationsQualifications and ExperienceHigh school diploma and/or GED equivalentDemonstrate critical thinking skills, reading comprehension, communication, and the ability to read and work according to blueprints, as well as perform basic calculation skillsDemonstrates problem identification and problem-solving skillsMust be able to accurately complete all paperwork associated with work as neededMust adhere to all safety guidelines and foster a safe work culture4 years of previous experience with hands-on industrial maintenanceStrong electrical and mechanical knowledge is requiredTroubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented work environmentOrganizational skillsMust demonstrate time management skillsBasic computer skills
