As a Relationship Banker in a Chase Branch, you will represent our brand with hospitality while using the latest banking solutions and technology to serve customers. Responsibilities Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive and friendly service in a welcoming environment. Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person or over the phone to build lasting relationships, understand their financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations. Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust through active listening and inquiry. Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to support their banking needs anytime, anywhere. Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to consult with clients about banking solutions and coordinate with experts for specialized financial needs. Adhere to Chase policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. Required Qualifications 1+ year(s) of sales experience in retail banking, financial services, or related industries with proven success in establishing new clients and deepening relationships. Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to tailor features and benefits to clients with differing needs. Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail. Ability to operate within established risk parameters and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including required training. High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent. Completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, and state registration (including 63 if required) and Life licenses. Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings. Preferred Qualifications College degree or military equivalent. Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act requirements for loan originators. Licensing & Compliance All unlicensed applicants must obtain the required licenses through JPMorgan Chase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire. Eligible candidates must also comply with the Safe Act and register with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) immediately upon start date, and remain compliant through timely renewal and updates. Applicants must pass a background check that includes criminal conviction history. A felony conviction within the last seven years is disqualifying. Compensation & Benefits Base pay ranges from $22.50 to $30.29 per hour (Sacramento, CA). Eligible roles may receive commission-based pay and/or discretionary incentive compensation in cash and/or forfeitable equity.
