SME is looking for a Client Developer to lead business development initiatives and support the ongoing success of SMEs environmental, geotechnical, and construction materials testing teams out of our Charleston, South Carolina office./ppWhat You Will Do:/ppAs a Client Developer, you will collaborate with Project Management, Communications, and Marketing teams to establish new client relationships and strengthen existing relationships. Helping to develop strategies that help SMEs Charleston office continue to grow and excel in supporting client success./pulliStrategic Partnership: Collaborate with local leadership and staff to develop and implement strategies that support individual and office-wide sales and revenue goals./liliBusiness Development: Represent the organization in the local market to strengthen existing client relationships, secure new business opportunities, and enhance the companys visibility. Maintain active involvement in professional associations for networking and growth./liliMarketing Coordination: Organize and manage local marketing initiatives, including sponsorships, events, and social media campaigns to promote brand awareness./liliProposal Management: Assist in preparing and submitting proposals and responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) to support business growth./liliTraining Leadership: Facilitate regular business development meetings and provide guidance to project managers and staff to improve their business development skills./li/ulpWho Were Looking For:/ppWe are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in researching, prospecting, and scheduling face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers and influencers, and can point to specific business outcomes resulting from their activities. Current involvement and visibility in professional organizations, industry associations, civic groups, and/or local associations for economic and business growth is a plus./ppQualifications:/pulliEducation: Bachelors degree in engineering, marketing, construction, business, or a related field/liliExperience: Minimum of 4 years of technical and/or business development experience within the Commercial Real Estate, Architecture, Construction, and Engineering industries (candidates with significantly more years experience encouraged to apply)/liliKey Competencies ulliExcellent written and verbal communication skills/liliExisting relationships with various A/E/C industry Designers, Contractors, and Owners/liliThe ability to increase sales opportunities for SME, achieve a sales target, and grow the Nashville office/li/ul/li/ulpWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:/ppThe willingness and ability to travel, using personal vehicles for use during company business, which may sometimes occur during evenings and on weekends/ppWe Are SME:/ppAt SME, were committed to your growth, professionally and personally.
