Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Critical care experience with medications such as insulin, vasopressors, and sedation - Management of invasive lines (ART/CVP) - Cardiac rhythm interpretation - Chest tube management - Ventilator management - Blood product administration - Wound care and dressing changes Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our team. The unit has 30 beds with an average census of 26. Patients may present with diagnoses such as sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, cardiac arrest, withdrawal, and renal failure. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1-2 during both day and night shifts. Support within the department includes CNAs for patient care, clinical supervisors, and a dedicated pharmacist. Phlebotomy and IV/VAT services are available 24/7. Nurse educators and hospitalists are present around the clock. The environment emphasizes teamwork and family-oriented care. Floating may be required within the region and scope of practice. If floating mid-shift, travelers will be compensated for travel time between facilities. The unit utilizes EPIC for EMR, Alaris for IV pumps, and Philips for monitors. Our culture fosters collaboration and support among all team members.
