We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused CDL Driver to join our team of drivers and serve as the face of our company on the road.

Role Summary

The CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe operation of company commercial vehicles and the timely, accurate delivery of medical supplies to our established customer network. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to all DOT regulations, and a commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with receiving personnel at medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Transport & Delivery: Operate a commercial vehicle (Class A/B) safely and efficiently along assigned local and regional routes to deliver medical supplies.

Unloading: Unload products at customer locations, ensuring accurate counts and damage-free handling.

Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of Professional Medical, providing courteous and helpful service to clients and facility staff upon delivery.

Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD), shipping papers, and delivery receipts. Ensure strict compliance with all state and federal DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Promptly report any maintenance issues, mechanical defects, or accidents to the fleet routing coordinator.

Quality Control: Verify order accuracy at the time of delivery and assist in resolving any discrepancies with the warehouse and quality control teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensure: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL - Class A or B) and a current DOT medical card.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience. Previous experience in local route delivery or distribution is highly preferred.

Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious moving violations or accidents within the past 3 years.

Physical Ability: Must be capable of repeatedly lifting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering up to 50 lbs, as well as using hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.

Skills: Excellent time-management skills, strong spatial awareness, and the ability to navigate using GPS and routing software.

Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
