Requirements:

• Valid state PT license (compact license required at submission)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year recent physical therapy experience
• Acute care experience required
• Epic experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations and assessments on patients in an acute care setting.
• Develop and implement effective discharge planning strategies.
• Provide gait training and mobility aid assistance to patients.
• Facilitate post-operative orthopedic care and neuro rehabilitation, including stroke, TBI, and SCI recovery.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and home exercise programs.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation consists of 8 hours (Reduced Non-Billable Orientation).
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays as required: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
• References required: 2 covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
• Must disclose any prior work at designated facilities with location and dates.
• Local candidate preference (local radius: 50 miles).
