Now Hiring: Hospital Housekeepers – Bangor, ME

Join our team as a Hospital Housekeeper and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. We are currently hiring dependable individuals for both first and second shift positions.

Pay

Starting at $21.00 per hour

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, waiting areas, and other hospital spaces.
• Follow hospital cleaning procedures and infection control standards to maintain a safe environment.
• Empty trash, restock supplies, and perform general housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
• Respond promptly to discharge room notifications. When a patient is discharged, you will pause your current assignment to thoroughly clean and prepare the patient room for the next admission before returning to your regular duties.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use approved cleaning products.
• Work independently while also collaborating with the Environmental Services team to ensure all assigned areas are maintained.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to changing needs.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is a plus but not required—we're willing to train the right candidates.
