Databricks Data Engineer

Responsibilities:


Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data Implement Delta Lake for reliable, high-performance data lakes Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver analytics-ready datasets Optimize Spark jobs for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency Handle data ingestion from multiple sources, including:


APIs
RDBMS
Streaming sources
Files
Cloud storage
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms Support production deployments, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Ensure data security, governance, and compliance standards are met Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
