Performance Nutrition Intern

UFC Performance Institute – Performance Nutrition Internship The role involves supporting the Performance Nutrition team at UFC Performance Institute, assisting with nutrition tasks, managing the fueling station, and providing education to athletes. Important Dates July 1st: Fall Internships will post externally. July 24th: Applications will be accepted through this date. July 27th – August 14th: The interview and selection process will take place. The program will be 12 weeks in length: August 31st – November 20th. Responsibilities Assist the Performance Nutrition team in sport nutrition-related tasks. Manage the fueling station and prepare fueling and/or recovery nutrition as required. Assist in planning and preparing snack and meal plans. Deliver individual athlete education as required. Ensure clean and hygienic nutritional environments within the facility. Act in an inter-disciplinary role with other technical areas as required. Qualifications Must be enrolled in a relevant academic program. Must possess or be working towards an RD or CSSD certification. Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and to deliver outcome goals effectively. Strong desire to work with elite combat athletes. Experience working with athletes from weight-categorized sports is desired.
