Dental assistant

Overview: An established dental practice is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. The chosen candidate will assist the clinical staff in providing efficient, top-tier dental treatments while ensuring comfortable patient experiences.
Duties: Responsibilities include setting up treatment rooms for cleanings or examinations, sterilizing dental instruments, and disinfecting medical equipment. You will assist dentists during procedures using advanced four-handed dentistry techniques, take routine digital dental x-rays, and deliver clear post-operative care instructions to patients. Administrative duties involve maintaining accurate dental charts, managing patient appointments, and navigating dental scheduling software.
Skills: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in standard dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows. Strong familiarity with medical coding and HIPAA regulations is required to secure patient records. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment are essential.
