Job Responsibilities: The Commercial Finance Director is responsible for leading the commercial finance strategy, pricing governance, profitability analytics and financial performance management for the Industrial Solutions (IS) Group. The role will report to the Group CFO of IS and partner closely with the IS Commercial Leadership team and IS Product Management organization to drive revenue quality, margin expansion and disciplined commercial execution.This role requires a strong business partner to the IS Commercial Leadership and IS Product Management teams, capable of translating commercial strategy into financial outcomes and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and revenue quality. It also requires an analytical leader capable of building scalable commercial analytics and financial discipline across a global organization.Responsibilities: Driving global commercial profitability performance through pricing discipline, contract governance and margin expansion initiatives.Partnering with Commercial leaders to develop pricing strategies aligned with raw material inflation, competitive positioning and value-based pricing opportunities.Leading governance for large commercial agreements including long-term supply contracts, bid reviews, indexation clauses and risk-adjusted returns.Developing customer, product and segment level profitability analytics to identify margin expansion opportunities.Partnering with the Product Management organization to perform product and portfolio margin analytics and support SKU rationalization initiatives.Designing and monitoring price-volume-mix analytics and identifying sources of margin leakage across the commercial portfolio.Establishing improved commercial forecasting processes and revenue visibility across regions and end markets.Supporting working capital improvement initiatives including customer payment terms, rebate structures and contract economics.Supporting portfolio simplification, restructuring initiatives and commercial footprint optimization.Coordinate with corporate FP&A and Data transformation team to develop and manage our global commercial data warehouse & reportingKey Competencies: Is a consistent role model for the Alkegen Core ValuesDemonstrates excellent process management and change management skillsExemplifies a systems-thinking mindset being able to navigate complexity and understand secondary and tertiary financial impacts on decisionsCombines strong manufacturing finance and technical accounting skillsetsDevelops relationships that enable effective leading, coaching, and development of team membersIs a highly motivated problem solver able to balance priorities well under pressureCommunicates clearly with all stakeholder groups; quickly builds trust, credibility and respect with senior leadership.Can translate complex financial analyses into clear decision framework for leadership to quickly assessQualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business finance within a manufacturing or industrial environmentDemonstrated experience partnering with commercial, product management, and operations leadership to drive pricing, margin expansion, and profitable growthStrong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable business insightsProven leadership experience managing and developing finance teams in a global and matrixed organizationAbility to operate effectively in a complex, fast-paced, and evolving global manufacturing environmentStrong business partnering and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions and drive disciplined financial decision makingExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey financial insights to senior business leadersAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools preferredAt Alkegen, we strive every day to help people – ALL PEOPLE – breathe easier, live greener and go further than ever before.
