Medical Front Office Specialist Regular Full-Time Dermatology- Mesa, Mesa, AZ, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1865 Salary Range: $18.50 To $20.00 Hourly Our Dermatology Front Office Specialist helps ensure the clinic runs smoothly, stays on schedule, and delivers welcoming experience for patients. Schedule: Monday through Friday What you'll do: Schedule patients for new/returning/follow-up appointments and provide all necessary information to prepare them for medical appointments and procedures. Insurance verification with carriers and patients. Check patients in and ensure all paperwork and documentation is properly completed. Collects patient payments upon checkout working with back-office staff to ensure correct amount. Verifies authorizations and accepts or transmits fax information for needed physician patient information Organize and communicate with insurance companies for authorizations for therapies, testing and specialist referrals.
