Host

We are looking to add a Host/Hostess to our team. The Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable first impression for guests visiting the resort's dining venues, lounges, and special events. This role greets guests, manages reservations and seating arrangements, and ensures a smooth flow of service while maintaining exceptional hospitality standards. The Host serves as a key point of contact for guests, providing information about resort amenities, dining options, and activities. Success in this position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced beachfront resort environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests
• Manage inventory of tables available
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience a plus
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages
