Web Developer Security Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support application security initiatives, the full-time Web Developer Security Engineer will focus on secure application design, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps integration in a remote/hybrid environment. Key Responsibilities Perform application security reviews and threat modeling Conduct vulnerability assessments and oversee remediation efforts Implement and maintain security controls within CI/CD pipelines Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Security and Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Strong knowledge of web application security principles and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) deployment, configuration, and tuning Required certifications in Application Security, Offensive Security, and Foundational Security
