Our Navigator Platform team uses analytics, machine learning and Cloud technology to deliver a no-hassle browsing and buying experience.We use AI and context that customer has shared across Capital One properties to deliver value in marketing to customers when they need a car, helping customers browse broad base inventory to find the right car, exploring both car and pricing / eligibility options, providing customers a personalized shopping experience, and allowing customers to connect when & how they want.Our Navigator Platform team is developing leading data innovation and data capabilities to deliver a game changing End to End Digital Auto Buying Experience. It ranges from trigger-based campaign, rapid product testing, recommended search, journey based experience, Leads and vehicle intelligence, etc.Basic QualificationsCurrently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field) plus at least 5 years of experience performing data analytics, or currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Master's Degree plus at least 3 years performing data analytics with an expectation that required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.At least 3 years of experience working with at least one scripting languageAt least 3 years of experience utilizing a business intelligence visualization toolAt least 3 years of experience in querying, analyzing and working with data languages and platformsPreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics disciplineAt least 4 years of experience coding in Python, R, Spark, or SQLAt least 4 years of experience working within process management and improvement methodologies – Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.At least 2 years of experience utilizing and developing within AWS servicesAt least 2 years of experience delivering Data Governance and Data Quality Management concepts and practices within the financial services industryCapital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Principal Data AnalystCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
