Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – School Setting
in [Oakland County]

As a School-Based CNA, you will:

Provide basic first aid and medical support to students and staff
Assist the school nurse in monitoring students with chronic conditions
Support students with daily hygiene, mobility, and personal care needs
Monitor students' vital signs and report health concerns to the school medical staff
Promote good health habits by educating students on hygiene and wellness
Assist in maintaining accurate student health records and documentation
Create a safe and supportive environment where students feel cared for

A few must-haves for School-Based CNAs:

Active CNA certification in [Michigan]
Experience working with children, school health, or pediatrics preferred
CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with students, staff, and parents
A compassionate and patient nature, ensuring students feel comfortable and supported
