Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule: 12-hour Night

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 4 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty
• Current BLS certification required; CMSRN preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to starting
• EPIC experience from within the past 2 years required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs and contribute to care plans.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures as outlined in protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes:

• Dress Code: Scrubs (Navy Blue & White, solid colors in any combination).
• Minimal jewelry and groomed appearance required.
• Orientation duration: 1 day.
• Reliable transportation is required; public transportation is not accessible.
• Scrubs should be appropriate for the environment.
