Position Details Job Title: Clinical Care Technician, Surgical Unit-II Category: CNA / Nurse Aide Status: Full-Time, Hourly Shift: Evening Pay Range: $20.11 - $28.67 per hour Location RWJ New Brunswick – One Robert Wood Johnson Place, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Surgical Unit-II, in our New Brunswick Facility. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association required. Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred. Certified nursing assistant preferred. Scheduling Requirements Evening Shift, 40 hours per week, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., includes every other weekend and some holidays. Essential Functions The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, including taking vital signs, EKGs, performing phlebotomy, and bedside care such as bathing, mouth care, and skin care. Providing patient care based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service. Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions. Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding the status of patient care. Participating in collaboration of patients’ plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
