5+ years of IT support or systems administration experience, including experience in a senior or lead capacity. Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft 365 Active Directory Exchange Online Windows Server Experience supporting macOS and iOS devices in an enterprise environment. Comfortable using an iPhone as a primary device (or willing to transition). Experience with ServiceNow or another ITSM platform. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, VPN technologies, and PowerShell. About the Role Our client is seeking a hands-on IT Lead to oversee day-to-day IT operations and deliver exceptional technical support within a growing enterprise environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who enjoys remaining hands-on while mentoring others and providing a high level of service to end users, including executive leadership. Success in this role requires a strong Microsoft infrastructure background, experience supporting both Windows and Apple devices, and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to users of all technical abilities. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day IT support operations and serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues. Provide white-glove IT support to end users and executives, delivering an exceptional customer experience. Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, Exchange Online, Intune, Windows Server, and endpoint management solutions. Support and troubleshoot Windows PCs, macOS devices, iPhones, and iPads. Manage user provisioning, identity and access management, MFA, Conditional Access, and device lifecycle management. Configure and administer Microsoft Intune, endpoint policies, software deployments, and security compliance. Monitor Microsoft Defender alerts and assist with security investigations and remediation. Troubleshoot networking, VPN connectivity, conferencing technology, printers, and hardware/software issues. Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and technical documentation. Mentor junior IT staff, promote knowledge sharing, and continuously improve IT support processes.
