Job Description

Position: Senior Quantitative Researcher

Location: 100 Somerset Corp. Blvd., 2nd Floor, Bridgewater, NJ 08807

Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced quantitative models and algorithms to support trading strategies across various asset classes. Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for alpha generation. Conduct thorough testing and validation of quantitative models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and reliability under various market conditions. Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with quantitative models and trading strategies. Work closely with technology teams to integrate quantitative models into trading systems and platforms, ensuring seamless execution and performance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including traders, developers, and risk managers. Position supervises 1 Junior Quantitative Researcher.

Educ./experience: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Finance or a related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Quantitative Researcher or in a related position. Experience must include: Statistical inference, time-series econometrics; Data/ML libraries, including NumPy, pandas, SciPy, statsmodels, and scikit-learn; knowledge of portfolio theory; and experience with data visualization using JupyterLab. Position supervises 1 Junior Quantitative Researcher.
