Pay: Up: $40-50/hour , based on experience

Contract: 1-year contract with potential for temp-to-hire

About the Opportunity

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is supporting a leading global life sciences organization with an opportunity for a Deviation Investigator to join its Quality team in Greenville, NC.

This is a strong opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys investigating deviations, identifying root causes, developing CAPAs, and working cross-functionally to maintain compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment .

The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, technical writing and investigation skills, sound analytical judgment, and experience working within cGMP or another highly regulated environment .

What You’ll Do

Deviation Management & Investigation

• Identify, document, and manage deviations from SOPs, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Conduct thorough investigations to determine root cause and contributing factors .

• Gather and evaluate relevant information, documentation, and data to support investigations.

• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Laboratory, and other cross-functional teams throughout the investigation process.

• Support the development and implementation of appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) .

• Monitor investigation activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized records of deviations, investigations, and CAPAs.

• Prepare clear, concise investigation and deviation reports for management review.

• Ensure documentation meets established Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and quality requirements.

• Present investigation findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders as needed.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure deviation investigations are conducted in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

• Support internal and external audits and inspections by providing appropriate documentation and investigation records.

• Apply knowledge of regulated manufacturing and quality systems to day-to-day investigation activities.

Continuous Improvement

• Review deviation data and trends to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.

• Provide observations and recommendations that support quality and process improvements.

• Participate in quality and training initiatives to strengthen deviation-management practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a regulated industry or cGMP environment , such as pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, manufacturing, engineering, or another highly controlled setting.

• Experience with deviation management, investigations, root-cause analysis, or CAPA is highly valued.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple investigations and priorities.

• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving ability with sound attention to evidence and detail.

• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint .

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Medical/Healthcare, Quality Management, or a related field , with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience in biologics, aseptic processing, or filling/isolator operations .

• Experience with electronic quality or documentation systems.

• Six Sigma certification or related continuous-improvement training.

• Familiarity with GMP and/or GLP .

• Experience supporting investigations within pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Work Environment

This is a fully onsite quality/manufacturing environment . Candidates should be comfortable working in a regulated facility and following applicable site safety, quality, PPE, and documentation requirements.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
