Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 284 Number of Staff – 55 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge RN, 1 Trauma RN and 1 Trauma Tech. Can Vary Night Shift – 1 RN, 1 Tech, 2 RN on-call and 2 Tech’s on-call Patient Ratios – 1:1, 1:2, estimated never guaranteed Type of equipment – DaVinci Robotics EMR – Meditech / CPN Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Minimum 1-year current acute care OR RN experience BLS & ACLS Robotics experience is highly preferred and candidates with this experience will be given priority Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Traveled to large Trauma OR Facilities Robotics experience Prior Meditech experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Vascular/Hybrid OR Trauma and Neuro Best personality Fit: Self-motivated Positive attitude and team player Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. 30-minute response time required for on-call On-call isa from 5P – 11P, Monday thru Friday.
