About the Position

Job Title

MRI / CT Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Stockbridge, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x10-Hour Shifts (Monday–Thursday) | 7:30 PM – 6:00 AM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics in accordance with facility protocols and policies
• Start peripheral IVs independently and obtain patient consent prior to procedures
• Operate Siemens and Philips CT scanners, Epic electronic medical records, and Fuji PACS systems
• Maintain a collaborative and productive work environment alongside technologists, nurses, physicians, and transporters
• Manage an average caseload of 12–24 patients per day across 4 rooms, including Stroke Alert cases within a Level 3 Trauma facility
• Fulfill on-call obligations of up to 4 on-call days (24-hour periods) per assignment with a minimum of 2 weeks prior notice

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of CT technologist experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Demonstrated ability to independently start peripheral IVs — this is a hard requirement
• Experience in both inpatient and outpatient work settings
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; all compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with high-acuity environments including trauma and stroke alert workflows
• Prior experience working with Siemens or Philips CT equipment and Epic or Fuji PACS systems
• Comfort floating within facility across applicable scope of practice as needed
