• 8 hour shifts, 5 days/week
• Long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
• Daily assessment and intervention for high-acuity patients
• Interdisciplinary team environment
• Patients with highest severity of illness -- complex acute medical needs
• Intense clinical and therapeutic intervention provided 24 hours a day
