Clinical Director

Our senior living team is seeking a Clinical Director to provide leadership in the Wellness department, support residents' health and well‑being, and maintain a safe, homelike environment. Responsibilities Oversee the Wellness department, ensuring a motivated and stable team. Manage resident health and wellness through regular monitoring and communication with the Wellness team, residents’ primary care providers, and other health service providers. Maintain compliance with Resident Rights, HIPAA, infection control guidelines, and other regulatory requirements. Establish a positive, respectful, and supportive environment for residents, employees, families, and guests. Lead orientation and welcoming processes for new residents and team members. Hire, train, supervise, and mentor the Wellness team; promote teamwork, wellness philosophy, and open communication. Actively protect resident and employee safety by identifying risks and taking immediate action. Report incidents per community policy and state laws, and observe for signs of abuse or neglect. Ensure immunization records are complete and adequate staffing levels meet program and clinical needs. Conduct regular in‑service and team meetings. Fill in for the Executive Director when necessary to maintain community operations. Qualifications Current active nursing degree, valid in the state of employment. License/certification required by regulatory bodies governing the community. Minimum of one year experience in assisted living or health care. Prior supervisory and leadership experience in a health care environment preferred. Current CPR certification and any other state‑specific certifications required.
