Education Program Manager, Alpha - $200,000/year USD
$200kCrossover for Work
Exceptional leaders understand that success is not defined by individual accomplishment, but by the achievements of those they develop and empower. If you have a proven track record of building teams that perform at the highest level, elevating individuals to surpass their own expectations, and flourishing in cultures where excellence is non-negotiable, this opportunity allows you to leverage those capabilities in shaping tomorrow's leaders. At Alpha, the student experience is fundamentally different. Rather than sitting through traditional lectures, students advance academically through adaptive learning technology while Guides provide coaching, motivation, accountability, and essential life skills development. As a Lead Guide, your mission is to build the team that brings this vision to life—coaching Guides, cultivating emerging leaders, and fostering an environment in which students routinely surpass expectations. This position is neither instructional coaching nor traditional classroom teaching. You will not evaluate lesson plans or observe lectures, because they do not exist in our model. Your focus will be on cultivating a culture of excellence through Guide coaching, facilitating dynamic life skills workshops, and inspiring students to pursue ambitious objectives. Your effectiveness will be evaluated based on student experience quality, team performance outcomes, and your capacity to uphold rigorous standards while motivating others to achieve them. Alpha is constructing the world's premier K-12 educational experience. This mission demands leaders who have already demonstrated the ability to elevate team performance, make rigorous data-informed decisions, and champion innovative approaches rather than defend legacy practices. If this resonates with you, we welcome the conversation. This position is presently available at select Alpha campuses: Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Miami Beach, FL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Orange County, CA; and Santa Barbara, CA. If you are based in one of these areas—or open to relocation—we encourage you to reach out. Outstanding candidates from other locations are also welcome to apply. As Alpha's footprint expands, we frequently connect exceptional leaders with emerging opportunities throughout our growing campus network. What You Will Be Doing Coaching Guides to reliably deliver outstanding student experiences while upholding Alpha's rigorous standards. Facilitating dynamic life skills workshops that build communication, leadership, focus, and other essential real-world competencies for K-12 students. Inspiring students to pursue ambitious learning objectives and accelerate progress within their self-directed academic journeys. Leveraging data, direct observation, and coaching dialogues to enhance Guide effectiveness and student results. Supporting the launch and establishment of new Alpha campuses by instilling a culture rooted in excellence, accountability, and relentless improvement. What You Won’t Be Doing Instructing traditional academic courses or presenting subject-specific lectures. Developing lesson plans or creating curriculum materials. Compromising standards to create false confidence rather than guiding students toward genuine mastery. Leading a team remotely from an office without direct, regular engagement with students and Guides. Maintaining outdated methods simply because "that's the way it's always been done." Education Program Manager Key Responsibilities Guarantee that every student consistently receives Alpha's three core promises by developing high-performing Guides, facilitating compelling life skills experiences, and sustaining rigorous expectations for student achievement. At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role. Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting. Experience building or launching a new team, program, business, school, or initiative, with willingness to help open a new campus from zero.
