Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced acute care environment. The individual will support cardiology teams by delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring procedural success.

Responsibilities:

Conduct coronary diagnostic and intervention procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Prepare and operate monitoring equipment, assisting physicians during complex catheterizations.
Maintain sterile techniques and ensure the cleanliness of the cath lab environment.
Monitor patient status throughout procedures, promptly addressing any issues.
Document procedures accurately in electronic health records using EPIC.
Comply with radiation safety standards and manage radiation badge requirements.

Qualifications:

Possess 2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.
Hold current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS (registered or in process).
Maintain an active South Carolina license (SCRQSA) or ability to obtain it.
Have a radiation badge, provided by the agency.
Demonstrate proficiency in coronary diagnostics, interventions, monitoring, and scrubbing.
