Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 8-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a primary focus on OB Education responsibilities
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
• Interpret and respond to fetal monitoring data, escalating concerns to the care team as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Permanent residence must be located 50 or more miles from the facility
• All required certifications must be submitted with application or submission will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an OB Education or clinical education role within a Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric patient populations
