Responsibilities:

• Deliver and maintain quality customer service by providing friendly and responsive processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments• Sorts incoming mail for distribution and dispatches outgoing mail; opens envelopes by machine or hand• Research and readdress undeliverable mail (i.e. incorrect or incomplete addresses)• Examines outgoing mail for appearance and seals envelopes by hand or machine• Manage/maintain postage machine• Responds to shipping label requests via email; responds to packaging material requests• Weighs packages to determine proper postage• Receive FedEx, UPS and all other deliveries; logging in all tracking numbers into tracking system• Enter activity data in daily/weekly logs, maintaining all records• Assists with conference room setup and breakdown• Assist with building/facility moves• Acts as second backup to switchboard when needed • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; some higher education preferred• Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent training• Proficiency in Microsoft Products: Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams• Experience in work order systems a bonus, but not required• Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed; regular and consistent attendance is a must• Physical requirements include: stopping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads with assistance/Team Lift• Proactive attitude, and able to remain diplomatic in stressful situations, team oriented with the capacity to build strong working relationships both within the team and external stakeholders• Ability to learn new skills quickly; flexible and able to juggle multiple and at times competing priorities• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision• Exhibits superior verbal, written, and customer service skills• Able to maintain confidentiality while working with highly sensitive materials
