Physical Therapist (PT)

Role Overview: The Physical Therapist (PT) provides direct rehabilitation care to patients in a skilled nursing facility, focusing on improving functional abilities and quality of life within a patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Include Developing, assessing, and modifying treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Overseeing and evaluating care provided by PTAs, rehab aides, and students Documenting patient progress accurately and timely Utilizing therapy software effectively and providing excellent patient service Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Participating in community health initiatives and maintaining professional relationships Adhering to safety, confidentiality, and compliance policies Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program (BSPT, MSPT, or DPT) Current licensure in the applicable state in good standing CPR certification (must be current) Strong communication, body mechanics, and decision-making skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate professionalism Key Duties Implement and follow established treatment plans Set measurable, realistic goals for patient recovery Assist in patient evacuation and ensure safety protocols Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies Demonstrate dependable attendance and positive attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr
