Asset Management Analyst

Analyst Position OverviewApollo Insurance Solutions Group ("ISG") is seeking an Analyst to support our asset management business. The Analyst will join our team's multi-functional mission of portfolio managing assets across our insurance business. You'll partner with professionals across the Apollo Credit, Athene Insurance, Enterprise and Management functions to manage assets through the investment cycle. We're looking for smart, motivated individuals we can develop into world class investment professionals.The successful candidate will support one or more of ISG's responsibilities including:Understand return objectives and risk tolerance of accounts under management, support timely asset allocation and portfolio construction activities to optimize around ALM, KRD, liquidity, investment guideline constraints and insurance-related considerationsForecast near-term liquidity needs and involve in day to day liquidity managementProduce weekly asset cashflow and risk reports. Work with business partners to fill reporting gaps and improve accuracySupport Financial Planning & Analysis income and capital forecastingConstruct strategic asset allocations to price new insurance liabilities and grow AUMPartner with Enterprise Data to improve infrastructure and upgrade processes to scale the businessQualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution requiredEngineering, Math, Science, Finance or Economics or general quantitative background preferredStrong technical skillset including Excel, Python and SQLFamiliarity with fixed income concepts preferred, experience with either structured products or mortgages would be a plusProblem-solving skills and inquisitive nature requiredExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skillsThe ideal candidate is professional, proactive, well-organizedAbout Apollo:Apollo is a high-growth, global alternative asset management and retirement services platform with a track record of investment excellence.
