Janitorial Supervisor

Night Shift Field Supervisor – Sioux Falls, SD Purpose : Promote business growth and customer satisfaction by documenting, training, and auditing established quality protocols for the Night Janitorial team. Responsible for nightly onsite inspections and reports of completed work at assigned locations. Essential Functions: ● Communicate directly with Janitorial Managers and customers to establish scope of work ● Document scope of work and create quality checklists per customer location ● Audit and score locations on a rotating basis ● Correct observed quality issues immediately ● Provide quality results and feedback to management on a regular basis ● Revisit underperforming locations with staff present to provide feedback and retraining ● Adjust quality check schedule and frequency based on results ● Meet with Janitorial Managers and customers on a regular basis to review performance ● Respond to employees needs including security assistance, equipment assistance, or supply support ● Evaluate and report on adherence to maintaining a safe work area and following safety policies Additional Expectations: ● Demonstrate a commitment to providing a quality service ● Communicate with a positive and empathic approach to customer interactions ● Communicate effectively with co-workers and leadership team ● Work diligently and move from one task to another without a loss of efficiency ● Respond positively to sudden changes. Apply flexibility and the ability to adjust quickly. ● Demonstrate organizational skills with attention to detail ● Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy of work ● Work independently and exhibit strong problem-solving, decision making, and judgement skills ● Identify opportunities for improvement ● Demonstrate strong written communication skills ● Cross-train as requested to develop and broaden skill set ● Be a team player willing to assist with a variety of tasks and assignments ● Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, and responsibility in carrying out the functions of this position ● Actively follow and support the Mission of Intek, its policies and procedures ● Perform other duties as assigned Experience and Education: ● High School Graduate or GED Required ● Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Required ● Ability to pass a background check Required ● 2+ years in a supervisory or quality review role Preferred Physical Demands ● Ability to occasionally bend, climb or balance, kneel, stoop, walk, or push and pull objects ● Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and occasionally 100lbs, to perform job functions ● Ability to work in a variety of environments, conditions, and temperatures including both in the office and in the field ● Ability to work a night shift #J-18808-Ljbffr
