What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to emergent situations promptly
• Administer cardiac drips and other medications as ordered
• Document patient status accurately in electronic health records (Epic)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and patient education during shift
• Adapt to unit needs including emergency response and relief assignments

What You Need

• Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for Louisiana licensure
• BLS certification is required; NIH certification preferred
• At least 1 year of telemetry or Med/Surg experience, with cardiac drip knowledge and EKG skills
• Ability to work night shift schedule and holiday rotation if required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Telemetry experience and familiarity with Epic EMR
