RN (Ambulatory Care)

RN (Ambulatory Care) – Location: Dallas – Hospital. Responsibilities Manage, delegate, and coordinate quality nursing care. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment. Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with peers, departmental leadership, and the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrate accountability for professional practice by participating in educational activities, maintaining clinical competency, maintaining licensure and certifications, and completing mandatory education in a timely manner. Deliver family‑centered, child‑focused patient care according to the nursing process. Utilize critical thinking and evidence‑based nursing practice to provide patient care. Serve as a preceptor, charge nurse, or competency validator. Participate in departmental and/or hospital‑wide committees or task forces. Participate in and support departmental and organizational change and provide suggestions. Demonstrate the Scottish Rite CARE RITE values. Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Current Texas RN license or eligibility for a temporary permit from the Texas Board of Nursing. At least 2 years of nursing experience. Pediatric experience required. American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification. Competent in Windows OS and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) EPIC experience. Full‑time or part‑time employment status required. Working Environment Working conditions: Inside. Position: Sitting, standing, and walking. Physical demands: Light physical requirements, including lifting or carrying 35–50 lbs. Sensory/communicative activities: Hearing, seeing, and speaking.
