Assistant Financial Controller

Amphenol PCD is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Financial Controller to support our growing finance organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role will play a key part in financial reporting, cost accounting, internal controls, and audit support.This position requires strong technical accounting expertise, a hands-on approach, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, consolidate, and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statementsSupport annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysisAssist in implementing and maintaining internal controls aligned with COSO and GAAP standardsPerform general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliationsEnsure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory accounting standardsUtilize ERP systems (Macola), Excel, and support corporate reporting through BPCPartner with internal and external auditors by preparing schedules and required documentationMonitor changes in accounting regulations and ensure ongoing complianceSupport process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting functionProvide guidance and oversight to team members on daily accounting activitiesAdditional duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of accounting or assistant controller experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, and standard cost accountingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of integrity and ability to handle confidential informationPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting internal and external auditsFamiliarity with COSO frameworks and internal control documentation (including IPE)Prior supervisory or team leadership experienceExperience with financial planning and reporting systems (e.g., BPC)The base salary range for this role is $120,000 USD - $145,000 USD, plus bonus. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
