Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Stillwater, Oklahoma.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ED - Emergency Department\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/05/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, evenings\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Evenings, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 5, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least one year of ED experience and OK or compact RN licensure.Details\n \n Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting\n Patient ratio of 1:4\n Evening shift schedule (3x12 hours), 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM\n 36 hours per week\n Meditech charting system used; preferred experience with this system\n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (OK or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration\n Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS\n Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required\n Skilled in cardiac monitoring and emergency response\n Experienced in management of dysrhythmias\n Proficient in IV therapy and phlebotomy\n Central line care and management experience\n Experience administering medications including IV vasopressors\n Respiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP management\n Experience caring for ventilated patients\n Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE use\n Triage experience required\n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment\n Responsibilities include emergency response, triage, and management of critical patients\n Travel pairs accepted for this assignment\n Holiday RTO requests are not guaranteed and must be submitted with initial availability\n Two professional references required for consideration\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-756936.
