As a highly rated community, we have been providing high quality and affordable care for 91 years.For a view into our world, please visit our website at have an amazing opportunity for a Nurse Manager that can:Assume 24-hour responsibility and accountability for resident careHandle emergency calls as necessary and informs Director of Nursing and Administrator when appropriateAttend daily stand up meetings and reports the status of residents and other related matters as required. Reviews 24-hour report with nurses and supervisors as neededOversee daily assignments for staffResponsible for interviewing and hiring process of all new candidatesComplete other duties as assignedExperience/Skills/EducationRequired:Current unencumbered license to work as an RN in the Commonwealth of Virginia.Current CPR Certification.Three years experience in long-term care facility, with one-year supervisory experience preferred.Extensive dementia experience.Knowledge and experience related to the physical and emotional needs of the elderly.Knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to Assisted Living.Must be able to safely perform all essential job functions without harm to self or others with or without reasonable accommodations.Must be proficient in MS Office, e-mail and other general computer systemsCompensation & BenefitsWe offer remuneration commensurate with experience.
