Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Tele to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric populations with diverse medical conditions, including cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patients.
• Float across various units such as MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, and more within a 60-mile zone around Colorado Springs, adapting to different patient care environments.
• Administer and titrate medications, including heparin drips, according to established protocols and patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in scheduled rotations, including nights and weekend shifts, to ensure consistent patient care coverage.
• Utilize EPIC charting system to accurately document patient information and care activities.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license valid in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg/Telemetry nursing experience.
• Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with floating assignments and flexibility in schedule management.
• Ability to handle high acuity patients and respond effectively to emergencies.
