Territory Operations Director (RN) – Home Health
Location: Lombard, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $130,000–$145,000 annually + performance bonus opportunity + mileage reimbursement
About the Opportunity
A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Territory Operations Director (RN) to oversee home health operations across a multi-site territory in the Chicagoland market. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, clinical quality, financial performance, employee engagement, and strategic growth.
The successful candidate will lead a large interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals while ensuring exceptional patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for multiple home health locations within an assigned territory.
• Direct and support clinical and operational leaders to ensure high-quality patient care and service delivery.
• Manage territory performance, including productivity, quality metrics, census growth, and financial results.
• Develop and execute operational plans to achieve organizational goals and growth objectives.
• Oversee staffing, recruitment, retention, leadership development, and succession planning initiatives.
• Monitor budgets, resource allocation, and overall financial performance, including P&L accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations.
• Foster strong referral and community relationships to support market growth and business development.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• Home Health leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading large, multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Strong operational management and performance improvement experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and quality initiatives.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
• Multi-site leadership experience.
• Financial management and P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing teams of 100+ employees.
