- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating personalized treatment strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in partnership with physicians or autonomously
- Guiding patients and families on wellness, prevention, and health management
- Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
