Job Details Location: Canopy - Park City, UT 84060 Position Type: Full‑Time Education Level: High School Shift: Variable Company: Extell Hospitality Services Overview Housekeeping Supervisor: Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in all guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house service areas. Serves as a working leader, central communications hub, combining hands‑on inspections with departmental coordination and dispatch duties. Leads, trains, and motivates the Housekeeping Team and manages the PMS and real‑time communication networks to deliver exceptional service aligned with the Canopy brand. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Oversee daily operations of the Housekeeping team (Room Attendants and House Attendants) Assign work duties and manage shift schedules Train, mentor, and evaluate Team Members to meet brand and quality standards Resolve conflicts and document substandard work for reporting to Executive Housekeeper or management Conduct pre‑shift meetings communicating priorities, VIP arrivals, and special requests Quality Control & Operations Perform detailed inspections of all guest rooms, corridors, service areas, and storerooms Ensure adherence to Canopy by Hilton brand standards and company policies Schedule and supervise deep cleaning projects and special initiatives Manage housekeeping supply, linen, and equipment inventory; place orders as needed Guest Service & Maintenance Provide personalized guest service and respond promptly to requests Follow up on maintenance defects and track work orders Manage Lost and Found program, documenting and tracking items Safety & Compliance Ensure proper safety techniques, chemical usage, and OSHA guidelines Maintain key control and security standards for back‑of‑house and guest areas Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management an advantage) Minimum two years of experience in a hotel front‑office role At least one year in a supervisory or senior agent role within hospitality Previous experience in a Housekeeping supervisory role (Hilton brand experience a plus) Track record of leading and motivating a team Strong organizational and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a positive work environment Physical ability to stand long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and move cleaning carts or equipment Flexibility for variable shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays Skills Leadership, mentoring and coaching of a diverse team Excellent guest service with prompt response to complaints and special requests Clear verbal and written communication for training and coordination with front desk, F&B, and engineering Decisive, critical‑thinking to prioritize competing requests and handle emergencies High personal organization, time management, multitasking in a fast‑paced environment Meticulous attention to detail for routine and deep‑cleaning inspections Proficiency in linen, chemical, and supply inventory management Knowledge of chemical handling procedures, cleaning equipment, and OSHA/Hotel safety regulations Familiarity with hotel software (OnQ PMS, HotSos) and service tracking applications Ability to identify, report, and sponsor maintenance defects through digital work orders Flexible schedule across all hours of a 24/7 hotel environment Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) matching and other standard perks #J-18808-Ljbffr Extell Development Company
