Supply Chain Quality Engineer Associate ManagerLockheed Martin Space is seeking a Supply Chain Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position based in either Highlands Ranch, CO or Sunnyvale, CA. The Quality professional will be responsible for leadership and performance within the Supplier Quality Engineering discipline, including Supplier Quality Engineering business process management, data analytics, continuous improvement, and talent development, training and knowledge continuity. The position may require working flexible hours and travel.As the Supply Chain Quality Engineer Associate Manager, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert in the area of Supplier Quality Engineering and as an Adviser for the Quality team. This position requires that the candidate stay current with industry standards, solutions and leverage technology into Space. Duties include, but are not limited to:Supervision and/or leadership of Quality Professionals including Engineers and InspectorsCoordination of daily tasks inclusive of but not limited to source inspection, First Article Inspection (FAI), supplier surveillance, supplier improvement, root cause and corrective action, Data Analytics, and 1LMX transformational efforts.Coordination with program quality and supply chain management.Implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) best practicesContinuous process improvement activities both within the organization and at supplier facilities.Willingness to travel up to 25%Ensure Supplier contract flow-down requirements are implemented and verified.Establish, revise, review and implement departmental policy and procedures.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM and/or equivalent experience/combined educationMust have the ability to travelAdvanced Quality Engineering or Analyst experienceMust be a U.S. citizen have the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start.Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System.Root Cause and Corrective Action knowledge and experienceDesired Skills:Prior leadership experienceKnowledge of and/or Experience implementing Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Procedures and Techniques.Experience with SAP/P2PQMRB CertificationASQ Certification(s) and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)Experience establishing Quality processes and requirements with cross functional, supplier and customer engagementSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
