Med-Surg Registered NurseLocation: Savannah, GA Pay Range: $28-43/hrJob Overview: As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will collaborate closely with patients, their families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while contributing to the overall success of the nursing department. You will play a critical role in achieving optimal patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive care and assume responsibility for a group of assigned patients.Oversee the smooth progression of patient care, including initial screenings, exams, and preparations for procedures, while ensuring comfort and support.Coordinate patient admissions, tests, and discharges, ensuring continuity and accuracy.Keep thorough and up-to-date documentation of patient records, including test results and medical exams.Administer medications following physician directives and nursing best practices.Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and follow-up care to promote informed decision-making and optimal recovery.Address and direct patient and family inquiries, including providing phone triage as necessary.Qualifications:Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Bachelor's Degree, Associate Degree, or Nursing Diploma required.A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting preferred.This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated RN to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, delivering excellent care to patients in Savannah, GA.
