Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with exercises and mobility activities
- Document patient progress and report to supervising therapist
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
- Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment
Qualifications
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant license
- CPR certification required
- At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
