Prorated Federal Holiday Pay 401(k) No nights Responsibilities Job Specific Details and Tasks: The duties include, but are not limited to the following: Coordinate CPR classes and publish available class times as needed by NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) Prepare CPR instructional areas, including equipment and materials required for the class Complete all paperwork, post-course rosters and maintain records as required by AHA Provides a range of nursing services, including preventive health care counseling Coordinates health care needs and makes referrals to medical specialists Assesses and treats minor health problems Administers emergency treatment Performs advanced cardiac life support Performs limited portions of physical examinations Perform medical evaluations and provide treatments for occupational medical injuries and illnesses within scope of contract effort Perform computer medical data entry: patient visits, treatments and services administered, medical chair/records documentation Qualifications Certified Registered Nurse (RN) 2 Years Registered Nurse Experience Current RN License - Commonwealth of Virginia Maintain American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Course C Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) provider certification Possess current American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor certification and stay current in the AHA curriculum and standards to maintain professional certification.
