Project Manager II

Project Manager / Program Manager – Healthcare Location: Remote

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Program Manager with 10+ years of experience leading complex healthcare technology projects and enterprise programs. The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership, executive stakeholder management, program governance, budget management, risk mitigation, and resource planning experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead complex projects and large-scale programs from initiation through successful completion.
• Partner with senior executives, business leaders, Product Owners, and IT leadership to define priorities, roadmaps, and delivery strategies.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and overall program health.
• Provide executive-level presentations, status reports, dashboards, and steering committee updates.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Architecture, Development, QA, Infrastructure, Security, and Operations.
• Drive Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Manage portfolio priorities, resource allocation, vendor relationships, and financial tracking.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, roadblocks, and dependencies.
• Lead change management, stakeholder communication, and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Establish KPIs, performance metrics, governance processes, and success criteria.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
• Mentor project managers and team members and promote accountability and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience in large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience working with Senior Executives, Business Leaders, and IT Leadership.
• Experience managing complex healthcare technology programs.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent executive communication, presentation, analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, resource management, and vendor management.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Healthcare, Health Insurance, Payer, Provider, or Digital Health experience.
• PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with enterprise transformation, cloud migration, data modernization, or digital initiatives.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance environments.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Clarity PPM, MS Project, or similar tools.
• Experience managing global delivery teams.
• Knowledge of healthcare claims, membership, provider, or clinical systems.
• Exposure to AI-enabled productivity/project management tools.
