Maintenance Assistant

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Gardens of Gainesville community. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around community grounds. Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment, and vehicles promptly and cost‑efficiently. Handle tasks such as fixing wall/floor coverings, repairing furniture and fixtures, basic plumbing, minor electrical repairs, appliance repairs, painting, refurbishing projects, HVAC, refrigeration, carpet and hard‑surface maintenance, and "make ready" rooms. Qualifications Minimum one year of maintenance experience. Availability to be on call and respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours. General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and code compliance. Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and life and safety regulations. Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Good judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
